Are Home Appliances Different From Business Appliances?

Homes and businesses can have very different needs when it comes to choosing appliances. Clearly, if your organization is home-based, your needs are equivalent to those of residential housing. Likewise, if you run a large manufacturing company, your requirements will differ. However, home and work appliances are essentially the same. Since the needs of all households are virtually the same, they all have the same basic household machines. Companies, on the other hand, can be very different and have very different needs. There are five basic and regular appliances. These are the washer and dryer, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Other smaller appliances may include a microwave, coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, blender, mixer, food processor, additional stove, and more.

Companies rarely have as many appliances as there are households, although some companies may only require the same machines in heavier models. For example, in your home, the coffee maker usually turns on and works only once in the morning. In a good-sized organization, the coffee pot could be used five or ten times a day, or more for a larger company! When shopping for your residence, you would probably buy a regular 12 cup coffee maker, but when shopping for a large business, you will probably want to find something more durable and larger in proportion to the number of people who will use it. Many businesses, including smaller ones, have a kitchen that usually includes a microwave, small refrigerator, and kettle. These are the same appliances that you would normally find in a home. Larger organizations may have a larger kitchen with a hob and regular refrigerator. Companies like manufacturing companies and factories are the ones with heavy machines. Some of these appliances include very large freezers and refrigerators.

Some factories like to provide frozen treats to their employees in the summer due to a lack of air conditioning, and as such they need a much sturdier freezer than a residential address would normally have. The refrigerators in these factories would also be much larger to hold all the lunches. Some homes with larger families may have a large refrigerator, but not as large as factory refrigerators. Another difference between home appliances and commercial appliances is that manufacturers sometimes produce commercial appliances with higher wattage than appliances intended for homes. The reason for this is that commercial household appliances are used much more frequently and with greater capacity than household appliances in a home environment.

Therefore, there is not much difference between home appliances and commercial appliances. There should only be a difference if the organization is large and has many employees. Furthermore, both types of machines are bought from the same shops. It is very difficult to find a store that only sells commercial appliances.
